Thuro Rollerblading: Cambridge Skate Fest 2015 (Sept. 12/13)

Hey y'all!

This weekend Thuro Shop and Rollerblade will be sponsoring the Cambridge Skate Fest, an inline skating event featuring multiple different styles of blading, including freestyle slalom, freeride, aggressive, and more! We'll be featuring a freestyle slalom battle and a freeride/aggressive competition for the main events.

Registration for one of the events is $10 for Juniors, or $20 for Adults (18+), or $15/$30 for juniors/adults interested in entering both competitions.

Here's the itinerary:

Saturday, September 12: Freestyle Slalom

Corporal Burns Park (Corner of Memorial Drive & Flagg St., Cambridge, MA)

• 10:00AM - 11:00AM: warm-up/free-skate
• 11:00AM - 2:00PM: Freestyle Slalom Battle!
• 2:00PM: free-skate

Featuring prizes for the top 3 skaters in adult and junior divisions!

Sunday, September 13: Freeride/Aggressive

On Memorial Drive (adjacent to JFK Park)

• 10:30AM - 11:30AM: warm-up/free-skate
• 11:30AM - 1:30PM: Freeride/Aggressive Competition!
• 1:30PM: free-skate
