We’re excited to announce the 2nd generation Boosted board. The 2nd generation delivers key upgrades - an extended range battery pack, water-resistant electronics, and advanced connectivity - and still has everything you love, including the Loaded bamboo deck, a high-torque drive-train, and industry-leading customer support. Here’s a highlight of what’s new in the 2nd generation board:

Choose Your Range: There are now two battery options, both interchangeable in minutes so riders can choose the range they need. Our standard battery, with 99 watt-hours for 6-7 miles of range, is fully certified for passenger airliner travel. The extended range battery, with 199 watt-hours, offers 12-14 miles of range, perfect for epic rides and longer commutes.

Increased Durability: Enhanced water resistance on all electrical components means riders will spend less time worrying about water damage and more time riding. Many of the board components are now modular and user-swappable, allowing customers to easily service and upgrade their board, minimizing downtime and getting them back to riding sooner.

Unlimited Connectivity: Ultrafast firmware upgrades to the remote, battery, and motor control processors ensure customers are always running the highest performance and most trouble-free software. A high-power accessory port paves the way for headlights and other customization options.

More Secure Connection: The Bluetooth radio that connects the board to the remote has been upgraded for improved signal strength and security. We’ve also added a second Bluetooth radio to allow a full-time connection to your phone or smartwatch.
