The Standup Special brake sole is cast using our V2 durable and highly flexible polyurethane At 5 mm thick, this is a very grippy brake sole that feels good underfoot and retains excellent ‘board-feel’.

Hand Crafted with Care

Our brake soles are compounded with special additives that cannot be machine-poured like a skateboard wheel. This means that every set of soles is hand-measured, blended and poured by someone who skates.

The small batch and special compounding means some variation in color and appearance should be expected.

These can include:

Small bubbles: the result of hand mixing, even with our vacuum degassing process
Streaking: often a result of compounding
Dappling: this is also a result of compounding

These natural variations do not affect the performance of our brake soles, nor are they defects. We hope you enjoy a custom product designed by skaters, for skaters.

These brake soles are easy to apply, long lasting and look great.

All our Brake soles are hand-poured in Ohio in small batches! Total Length is 13 inches (33cm) and will fit up to a US size 13 shoe.
