Taylor Knox has been on the Carver team for nearly a decade, and during his tenure they made numerous board models for him. His most popular by far has been the Fort Knox, a mid-sized deck with the wider spooned nose for extra forward foot placement. Everything is designed to work with Taylor's style of power carving, so for 2014 they've made a few adjustments. First they added a quarter inch of length to this signature model and lengthened the wheelbase by 3/8". It's a subtle adjustment, but widening the stance and drawing out the carves by just a little bit makes this all-around board pump a bit faster. It still has the same easy pump and stable pushing properties, but with the added length Taylor has adjusted the stance so its even more closely matched with his surfing stance. This is important when using the board for surf cross-training, as it sets up good foot placement habits and proper muscle memory. Next they gave the template a fuller squash tail for a classic look and feel. And finally, they've kept the winged theme for his graphic, as well as his favorite blue and black colorway, creating a new Knox with the same classic vibe that Taylor has always had.

CX Trucks:

This is Carver’s hybrid surf and skate truck. On the one hand it’s a lightweight standard RKP (Reverse King Pin) hanger and base, on the other it has a patented geometry that squeezes every bit of turn and pump from the system. This means that you can pump this truck like a C7, but it lands airs and rides fakie with more stability as well. This opens up aerial maneuvers, and keys in with the latest progression of airs in surfIng.

C7 Trucks:

This is the signature truck that started it all. Still the smoothest turning, fastest pumping surf truck ever, it's at the leading edge of true surfskate performance. The patented second axis of this front truck not only increases the turning radius of your carve, but lets you snap the nose and pivot your turns off the tail. This dynamic creates thrust and drives you forward with increasing speed. The striking similarity to surfIng performance has made the C7 the choice for surf training by pros and ams alike.
